United Kingdom, Aug. 18 -- Salma Hayek has become a grandmother for the first time - with the Frida star revealing she has already given the newest Francois in her extended family her own affectionate nickname of "Panchito".

The 59-year-old actress shared her delight after her stepson Francois Pinault Jr. and his wife Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck welcomed their first child, a son named Francois.

Salma, who has been married to Francois-Henri Pinault since 2009, announced her new family role on Instagram with footage showing her holding the baby and talking to him in Spanish.
