United Kingdom, Sept. 7 -- Ryan Reynolds isn't planning a party to celebrate his 50th birthday later this year because he gets "enough attention".

The Deadpool star is set to mark the milestone on October 23 but Ryan has insisted he's not going to be organised a blow-out bash because he's not a big fan of birthdays.

He told PEOPLE: "I don't like birthdays. I mean, I'm fine with it. I don't bemoan a birthday, but I'm not like: 'Hey, let's have a huge party for me.'

"I'm good. I get enough attention. I was just on a red carpet. This is plenty."
