United Kingdom, Oct. 19 -- Ryan Phillippe's 9-1-1: Nashville character has "no time" for romance.

The 52-year-old actor plays Detective Rogue Kelly in 9-1-1: Nashville, the procedural drama series, and Ryan admits that his on-screen character is more interested in finding criminals than finding love.

Ryan told Us Weekly: "With this serial killer that he's hunting, it becomes his obsession. Nothing else matters to this character at a certain stage.

"He has no bandwidth, free time for romance yet. Once that's resolved, we'll see what happens, and we'll see if they bring somebody in or if it's someone who's already in the cast."

Ryan explained that Detective Kelly is fully focused on his work.
