United Kingdom, Aug. 19 -- Rosie O'Donnell has jokingly thanked Donald Trump for making her "re-famous".

The 64-year-old comedian has been locked in a war of words with the US president for several years, and she even relocated to Ireland after he was elected for a second time.

During her current guest hosting stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said on Tuesday's (18.08.26) episode: "This has been kind of a strange experience for me because all of a sudden I'm re-famous.

"I'm back in the spotlight, all thanks to President Oompa J. Loompa, who is watching us this evening from inside a catering cart.

"You know, I couldn't have done it without you, sweetie. You brought me back! Just like you did with fascism and the measles!"
