United Kingdom, Aug. 14 -- Rosie O'Donnell can't understand why anyone would support "very dark spirit" Donald Trump.

The former View star has been locked in a war of words with the US president for several years and she can't understand why his "obvious criminal behaviour" hasn't proven to be a turn off for voters.

She said on The Tangle podcast: "I can't think of anyone else in my life who supports him, and I don't understand the people who do. His cruelty is so blatant. His criminal behaviour is so obvious. His misogyny, his racism, his homophobia. He's just a very dark spirit, and I don't know why that's not obvious to the world."
