United Kingdom, Sept. 25 -- Rob Lowe has admitted being famous and single in the 1980s was "incredible".

The West Wing actor - who married Sheryl Berkoff, the mother of his sons Matthew, 33, and John Owen, 30, in 1991 - reflected on the early days of his career success and admitted the fun he had at the time was "better" than people could "dream" of.

Speaking on Chicks in the Office, he said: "It was just an incredible time. It was an incredible time to be in the business. It was an incredible time to make movies. It was an incredible time to party. It was an incredible time to be single. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

"In the totality of humanity, if I could have lived in any time, that would have been it."
