United Kingdom, Oct. 19 -- RJ Mitte's mother has revealed his death was "unexpected" because he was doing well in his career and had been talking to a therapist.

The Breaking Bad star - who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of three and went on to play Bryan Cranston's onscreen son Walter, Jr. in the hit drama - died earlier this month after taking his own life at the age of 34 and now his mom Dyna Mitte has opened up about the tragedy and admitted "there were concerns" about his mental health but she encouraged him to seek professional help.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "It was more about the conversations we were having - not just with me, but with his team and friends.

"There were concerns. That's why I encouraged him...
