United Kingdom, June 30 -- Rebecca Black has welcomed the return of "unhinged pop star energy".

The 29-year-old singer - who rose to fame in 2011, when her debut single Friday went viral on YouTube and various social media sites - believes the pop industry is stood on the brink of a new era, and Rebecca has welcomed the change.

The pop star - who has filmed a new music video for Speakerphone, her single - explained to Bustle: "Fergalicious is one of my favourite songs in the world. There's a scene in the video where they're dressed as Girl Scouts and dancing in tandem, and that was one of my influences for the Speakerphone video.
