United Kingdom, Oct. 22 -- Reba McEntire's son Shelby Blackstock has become a dad for the first time.

The 36-year-old former NASCAR driver and his 33-year-old wife, Marissa, took to their respective Instagram Stories on Wednesday (21.10.26) to announce that they have welcomed a baby boy named Shelby Archer McEntire Blackstock.

He wrote over a blurred shot of himself, Marissa and their newborn: "After everything it took to get here, we finally get to call ourselves mom and dad.

"We've been taking these first few weeks just for us and there's nowhere else we'd rather be."
