United Kingdom, Oct. 3 -- Anya Taylor-Joy has hailed Raye as a "ray of sunlight".

The 30-year-old actress has heaped praise on her showbiz pal, observing that "warmth and depth radiate from her".

Anya told TIME: "Raye is exactly that - a ray of sunlight.

"Warmth and depth radiate from her, both in person and through that extraordinary voice."

The movie star believes Raye, 28, has a rare talent for song-writing, too.

Anya praised Raye for being able to turn heartbreak "into music that reaches straight through you".

The actress - who previously starred in The Rolling Stones' Jealous Love music video - said: "The truth sounds better coming from her: powerful, honeyed, vulnerable, and knowing.

"As heard on her 2026 album, This Music Ma...
