United Kingdom, April 29 -- Ray J claims he has slept with well over 12,000 women.

The 45-year-old singer has made a staggering confession about his love life, insisting the number of women he's slept with has reached five figures, and he credits the high number with his experiences on tour.

He told the Funky Friday podcast: "These are 10,000 different people. It's at, like, 12,500 now, but I wanted to get to 11.

"I was guaranteed 10. I didn't want to be at 9,000, and I wanted to be at 11. Then. we went to 10. Just wanted to make sure I was over."

Podcast host Cam Newton was sceptical about the number, pointing out that at Ray J's age, that meant "sleeping with a little over one and a half women a day for 30 years".
