United Kingdom, Sept. 23 -- Cardi B diversified her investment portfolio for the sake of her children.

The 33-year-old rap star - who has Kulture, eight, Wave, five, and Blossom, two, with Offset, as well as a ten-month-old baby with Stefon Diggs - has explained why she's tried to diversify her portfolio away from music.

Cardi explained to Entertainment Tonight: "I was panicking. I leave this earth and my kids are going to have just music royalties and they're mostly going to have to be arguing people about it."

Cardi - who worked as a stripper before finding success in the music business - is determined to ensure that her kids never have to worry about money.
