United Kingdom, Aug. 13 -- Cardi B finds the complaints of her fans to be demotivating.

The 33-year-old rap star has taken to social media to address criticism of her release schedule, explaining that fan complaints are more of a hindrance than a help to her.

Cardi said on X Spaces: "When y'all complain, it doesn't make me want to sit down. No, it makes me want to say, 'I ain't doing s***. How about that? That's the type of person I am."

Cardi also revealed that she doesn't put the same energy and effort into all of her projects.

The rap star admitted, too, that she has not "been in the studio" in recent times.
