United Kingdom, Aug. 31 -- Days of Thunder star Randy Quaid has taken aim at Tom Cruise in a bizarre rant, slamming the actor for making a "horrible choice" casting Anne Hathaway and not including his ex-wife Nicole Kidman in the film follow-up.

Tom hit headlines when he announced over the weekend that he and Anne would be starring in the sequel to the 1990 action classic, which he will also produce alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Tommy Harper.

Anne is believed to be taking on the role of a race team owner and engineer in the movie, which is due for release on 2 June 2028, but Randy - who played Tim Daland in the original film - made it clear in a series of social media posts that he's not on board with her casting.
