United Kingdom, March 30 -- Queen Elizabeth will be the focus of a new BBC One documentary marking what would have been her 100th birthday. Charting a century of change through her life and reign, the late monarch -who died aged 96 in September, 2022 -is set to be honoured in Queen Elizabeth II: Her Story, Our Century, a one-hour film examining the social, cultural and historical shifts that unfolded during her time on the throne.
The programme will explore her role as Britain's longest-reigning monarch and the way her life intersected with major national and global events, from the age of Empire through to the rise of celebrity culture.
