United Kingdom, May 23 -- Nicole Scherzinger hopes the Pussycat Dolls bring a "light of hope" to the American Music Awards (AMAs).

The 47-year-old pop star and her bandmates, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, are performing with rapper Busta Rhymes during the upcoming AMAs, and Nicole is determined to deliver a performance to remember.

Nicole - who recorded the Dolls' 2004 hit single, Don't Cha, with Busta Rhymes - told People: "It's incredible. I believe it might have been our first time performing [in] 2006, and it's crazy that the time flies so much to think that it's 20 years later.
