United Kingdom, March 17 -- Prince William joined DJ Greg James for a surprise tandem ride for charity on Tuesday (17.03.26).

The BBC Radio 1 presenter is attempting to complete a 1,000km ride from Weymouth to Edinburgh in eight days to raise money for Comic Relief, and he was stunned by his surprise royal guest, who hopped on thetwo-seater bike just outside of Doncaster and cycled with him through the countryside in South Yorkshire.

William praised Greg for going through "a bit of pain" to help others.
