United Kingdom, July 20 -- Prince Harry has denied he's "too posh" to play soccer.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, opened up about his love of the sport during an appearance on James Corden's Fox Sports show revealing he was good at "football" when he was at junior school but he was downgraded to the "E team" after enrolling at the exclusive Eton College.

Show host James teased his pal by saying: "I thought you went to a school that was too posh to play soccer?"

Harry then hit back at his fellow Brit by joking: "Well, I played football. Why are you calling it soccer? ... It was such a posh school that everything was an option. There was a football team."

When asked if he was "any good", Harry replied: "In prep school I was in the first team. ...
