United Kingdom, March 13 -- Pras Michel has dropped his ongoing lawsuit against former Fugees bandmate Lauryn Hill, just weeks before he is due to go to prison.

The 53-year-old rapper - who is set to spend 14 years behind bars after being found guilty in 2023 of a string of charges in a $100 million political conspiracy case - had taken legal action against Lauryn for claims including fraud, "gross mismanagement", and breach of contract over their shortened 2023 tour and the cancellation of 2024's Miseducation Anniversary concert series, but he has now voluntarily pulled the plug on the case.

According to Billboard, Pras dropped the lawsuit without prejudice, meaning he could refile at a later date.
