United Kingdom, May 13 -- Hilary Duff has felt "better and better" as she's aged.

The 38-year-old pop star appears on the cover of the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and Hilary admits that she feels proud of her body.

The blonde beauty - who released Luck... or Something, her latest album, earlier this year - told Sports Illustrated: "Getting to come to South Caicos and roll around on the beach with everybody making me look beautiful and taking gorgeous photos is such a fun experience and a great marker of time for my life.

"I love this age that I'm at. Being 38, like, I'm going to look back and be like, 'That's crazy. I'm so happy to have it documented.'"

Hilary has felt better and better the closer she gets to 40.
