United Kingdom, Sept. 29 -- Police investigating the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie are looking into another ransom note.

Two letters sent in relation to the vanishing of Savannah Guthrie's elderly mother in Arizona in February were made public for the first time in August and now officials at the Pima County Sheriff's Department have confirmed they are looking into a third.

In a statement, the force explained: "The PCSD/FBI Guthrie Task Force was recently made aware of a new possible ransom note related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation.

"Investigators are also aware of social media comments regarding the note and are looking further into the information to determine its credibility."
