United Kingdom, Sept. 1 -- Pete Doherty is planning a surprising new career move.

The Libertines and Babyshambles star has revealed he wants to open a second hand shop in France to help get rid of all the records, clothes and books he's collected over the years and he would like to add a cafe and gig venue to the venture.

Pete - who lives in France - told NME: "I don't really feel the need to make a record right this second. I don't feel it's in my list of things to do immediately. I really want to open a second-hand shop.

"I've got so much stuff. I finally got it all out of Margate [In the UK] to Normandy [in France] and I've got this big warehouse of records, clothes, typewriters, mannequins, books, trunks."
