United Kingdom, Sept. 30 -- Perez Hilton has been able to "reconnect with his children and his mom" after his suicide attempt.

The 48-year-old celebrity gossip blogger - whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr - was hospitalised in early August after self-harming in a disturbing TikTok livestream, but Perez has recently been reconnected with his family.

A statement posted on his website explained: "It's been about two weeks since our last update on Perez, and we wanted to share a little bit about where things stand.
