United Kingdom, May 26 -- Paula Abdul felt "humbled" by the Duchess of Sussex's recent show of support on social media.

The former Suits actress celebrated the eighth anniversary of her wedding to Prince Harry on Instagram, and Paula was "touched" that the Duchess' post featured audio of Forever Your Girl, her 1989 single.

Paula, 63, told E! News: "I was in shock and I was so touched.

"I never take anything for granted with my career, I never have. And so, I'm always humbled to have little gems like that appear in my life. It's very touching."

Paula actually reached out to the Duchess to share her gratitude.

She said: "I just texted her back, saying, 'What beautiful pictures and thank you so much for using my song.'"
