Paul Gascoigne details 'horrific' withdrawal from 30-a-day Red Bull addiction
United Kingdom, June 10 -- Paul Gascoigne sat on a rock for four days and "didn't move" while he was in rehab due to a 30-a-day Red Bull addiction.
The 59-year-old former England footballer previously went to Arizona to seek treatment for his addiction to the energy drinks, but Gascoigne - who is affectionately known as Gazza - insists the withdrawal stage was "horrific", and it included him thinking "trees were dinosaurs".
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he said: "I think it was 30 cans a day. The withdrawal was horrific.
"I thought trees were dinosaurs and everything.
"It was terrible. I sat on a rock for four days and didn't move. I just said, 'Good morning, and good night.' That's all I did."
