United Kingdom, June 22 -- Criminal Minds actress Paget Brewster has issued an apology after telling a critic to "work at a shelter".

The 57-year-old, who stars as FBI Supervisory Special Agent Emily Prentiss in the programme, posted on X on Saturday (20.06.26) taking aim at ScreenRant writer Shealyn Scott and her piece titled: Paramount+'s Criminal Minds Format Change Finally Backfires.

In the story, Scott criticised the show for shortening the episodes, and said that while it "may prevent filler episodes ... they also hinder the show's most promising side stories".
