United Kingdom, March 16 -- Michael B. Jordan paid tribute to the Black actors who "came before him" as he picked up the Best Actor prize at Sunday's (15.03.26) Academy Awards.
The 39-year-old actor scooped the accolade for his work on Sinners and began his acceptance speech for the award - for which Timothee Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent) were also nominated -
by praising the support of his family.
