United Kingdom, Aug. 19 -- A student has thanked Olivia Rodrigo for "paying for my final semester of college".

According to Jamie McCausey, the Stupid Song star "reached out" to her "privately", after watching a video in which Jamie admitted she was struggling to fund the last term of her college experience.

In a video shared on Instagram and TikTok, Jamie said: "Olivia first commented on my birthday video and wished me a happy birthday. That alone meant so much to me.

"Then I made a video explaining how I was a first-generation student struggling to pay my final semester's tuition. I wasn't asking people to pay for it. I wasn't asking for pity. I was just being honest.
