The brothers and Oasis bandmates had a turbulent relationship that famously left them no longer on speaking terms when the band split in 2009, but after getting back together for the group's long-awaited reunion tour last year, they are now closer than ever and are more like "mates".

Speaking in their new documentary film Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger, which documents the reunion, the Daily Mirror reports Noel Gallagher said: "We never used to text each other much but now we text each other stupid videos like two mates would. We're in contact way way way more often than we ever were.
