United Kingdom, May 12 -- Noah Wyle "became" his character from The Pitt and treated an injured co-star on set.

The 54-year-old actor leads the cast of the real-time medical drama as Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch and he sprang into action when Laetitia Hollard accidentally banged her elbow while shooting in the crowded "control hub" of the main set, leading to a bloody scrape.

Letitia - who plays shy nursing graduate Emma Nolan - explained on Warner Bros. TV's A Lot More podcast: "I had this little moment where you see me enter in episode 1 with this notebook and all these things on me.
