United Kingdom, June 30 -- Nina Dobrev has likened kissing Aaron Paul to "making out with [her] brother".

The 37-year-old actress stars alongside Aaron, 46, in The Get Out, the new crime thriller that also stars Russell Crowe, Luke Evans, Teresa Palmer, Danny Zovatto and Josh McConville, and Nina admits that their on-screen love scenes were awkward to film.

During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Nina shared: "Aaron and I have known each other - him and his wife and I met, I think in 2011? So we've been friends for a while."

Asked if she found it awkward or weird to kiss a long-time friend, Nina replied: "Very."
