United Kingdom, March 27 -- Nikki Glaser fears embarrassing herself in front of Taylor Swift.

The 41-year-old comedian has admitted that she struggles to keep her composure around the pop star, and Nikki has now revealed that she was relieved not to come face-to-face with Taylor, 36, at the recent iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Speaking to Variety at the ceremony, Nikki explained: "I find myself when I do meet people I really admire, I do act a fool and I can't control myself - my teeth chatter and stuff. I don't need her to deal with that. That's too much for her."

The self-confessed Swiftie - who has met Taylor once before - admitted that she'd turned down the chance to prepare what she would say to the singer.
