United Kingdom, May 20 -- Nika King was "clowned" by her mother after her Euphoria return was cut to just "one line".

The actress reprised her role as Rue's (Zendaya) mother Leslie in episode six of the ongoing third season of the HBO drama, but most of the phone call was shown from Rue's perspective as the camera only cut briefly cut to Nika as she said "I love you, Rue".

Taking to Instagram, the star laughed: "I just watched the episode that I've been promoting all week - and my mom over here is clowning me!

"She said the internet waited all this time for me to just say one line."

Her mother was heard in the background saying "three years" in a nod to the long gap since season two, which premiered in 2022.
