United Kingdom, March 15 -- Nicole Kidman prepares for the Oscars by going to church.

The 58-year-old actress has revealed the unique way she prepares for Hollywood's biggest night that helps to ground her.

She told Variety at the Chanel and Charles Finch pre-Oscars dinner on Saturday (14.03.26): "This is crazy but I will go to church in the morning.

"We'll be squeezing it in.It just centers me. It's what I do on a Sunday."

Her daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, whom she has with her estranged country musician husband, Keith Urban, 58, won't be at the Oscars with their mom.

She said: "They're on spring break, but we'll all be sort of just tucking ourselves in, go home, have a bath and go to bed."
