United Kingdom, May 4 -- Nick Cannon applies a "double standard" when it comes to his teenage children dating.

The television host and comedian known for The Masked Singer and America's Got Talent, 45, made the admission as he said he is encouraging his son to get out on the dating scene - while refusing to allow the same for his daughter.

Father-of-12 Nick, who is also widely associated with Wild 'n Out, made the remarks during an appearance on The TMZ Podcast, while discussing his 15-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, who he had with Mariah Carey, alongside multiple children with other partners.

Discussing his boy, Nick said: "My son (Moroccan) has been dating, and I've allowed it, I encouraged it."
