United Kingdom, July 29 -- Natalie Portman is "counting down the days" until her due date.

The 45-year-old actress is expecting her third child - her first with partner Tanguy Destable - and took to Instagram to share a stunning pregnancy portrait.

In the snap, she was seen showing off her bare bump in an open blue shirt, tenderly cradling her stomach while looking down.

She wrote alongside the Instagram image: "Counting the days until we meet you."

Natalie went on to thank photographer Shelby Duncan for her "talent".

Comments on the picture immediately started to flood in, with many coming from Natalie's celebrity friends.
