United Kingdom, Sept. 24 -- Tinashe has vowed to never date a broke man.

The 33-year-old singer has previously dated men with money troubles - but Tinashe insists it won't happen again.

During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Tinashe explained: "Girl, I'm not going to lie. There was a couple times I was taking cash out of the ATM. I was like, 'Here you go.'

"I was p*****, too. And I was like, 'I'm never doing this again.' That's why I wrote a song about it. Don't do it again."

Tinashe is currently preparing to release Popstar, her eighth studio album, and she feels the record reflects her real-life self.
