United Kingdom, Aug. 13 -- Becky G doesn't see other female artists as competition.

The 29-year-old singer - who has a particularly close friendship with Karol G - has revealed she hates it when female artists are pitted against each other.

Speaking about her relationship with Karol, Becky told CBS Mornings: "We have a beautiful friendship, one I'm really, really thankful for, and one that I think throughout the years, we've really earned with one another.

"I think that's for many, many reasons . through experiences, shared experiences, individual experiences and, of course, an industry that is so quick to pit people against each other."
