United Kingdom, Oct. 2 -- Miranda Lambert thinks she deserves a "ribbon" for surviving the country music industry in the 2010s.

The 42-year-old singer feels proud that the likes of herself, Carrie Underwood and a few other female artists were able to achieve sustained success in the country industry through the decade.

During an appearance on the Popcast podcast, Miranda explained: "In the 2010 era, it was like there were no females at all.

"Carrie Underwood and I made it through pretty much a solid, at least, seven years of only guy artists coming out of country music. It's like, 'Wow, this is really off-kilter a little bit.'"
