United Kingdom, Oct. 6 -- Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves resolved their differences during a song-writing session.

The 42-year-old singer and Kacey, 38, managed to overcome their historic tensions while writing Horses and Divorces, their collaboration that appears on Kacey's Middle of Nowhere album.

Miranda - whose rift with Kacey spanned over a decade - told Southern Living: "It worked out really well, because we got to air out some things we needed to say to each other while writing this song about coming back together, which was really cool. And I love the way it turned out."
