United Kingdom, Sept. 25 -- Miranda Kerr went through "a little bit of" depression after splitting from Orlando Bloom.

The 43-year-old model - who has son Flynn, 15, with the Lord of the Rings actor - separated from the 49-year-old star in October 2013 after three years of marriage and she recalled how it was such a "challenging" time for her that she lost her natural joy.

Speaking on The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show, she reflected: "Obviously my public divorce, separation with Orlando, that was something that was another challenging time.

"After we separated, I went through a little bit of like, depression.
