United Kingdom, Aug. 5 -- Miranda Kerr said her ex-husband Orlando Bloom is "like a brother" to her as she opened up about co-parenting.

The 43-year-old model and the 49-year-old actor have remained on good terms since their three-year marriage ended in 2013, and she said the key to their successful co-parenting is putting their 15-year-old son Flynn first.

On the latest episode of the Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari podcast, Miranda said: "It's obviously not easy when you're separating. And there's always a level of hurt, even if you both know it's for the right reasons.
