United Kingdom, Aug. 20 -- Minnie Driver has been left "traumatised" following her involvement in a "really bad" car accident.

The 56-year-old actress revealed earlier this month that she had been hospitalised following an incident on a country road in France and admits that she has been struggling to cope since the "near-death experience".

In a black-and-white Instagram clip from the French capital, Minnie said: "Paris update. It sucks being traumatised.

"Like you look like you're okay and you keep saying please and thank you and showing up but... You're just not okay.

"And now I'm in the club, this near-death experience club, and I really don't like clubs."
