Mindy Kaling used to be a 'workaholic type A', says Running Point co-creator
United Kingdom, May 20 -- Mindy Kaling used to be a "workaholic type A".
The 46-year-old star has enjoyed a hugely successful career as a writer and as an actress - but according to Ike Barinholtz, Mindy's co-creator of Running Point, she's found a healthier work-life balance in recent years.
Ike told Bustle: "She's really gone from someone who was, I would say, almost a workaholic type A to having a pretty good balance now."
Running Point tells the story of a reformed party girl who is left to run her family's pro basketball team. Mindy - who has kids Kit, eight, Spencer, five, and Anne, two - feels passionate about the show, but she's also able to switch off at the end of the working day.
