United Kingdom, Aug. 12 -- Mindy Kaling has set the record straight amid swirling rumours that she had signed up for a new Victoria's Secret campaign.

The speculation began after the lingerie company released a new ad, which showed a woman in a black lingerie and stockings laying on a bed.

The model looked strikingly similar to The Office star Mindy, causing her to take to her Instagram Stories to hove her say.

Sharing a snap of the advert in question, Mindy wrote: "This is not me! I wish!"

Mindy added: "I could not fill out lingerie like this! But I admire this woman."

The 47-year-old has faced criticism in recent months after shedding an extraordinary amount of weight.
