United Kingdom, Aug. 26 -- Miley Cyrus has played a heartfelt tribute to Dolly Parton.

The 33-year-old pop star has taken to social media to pay tribute to Dolly, her godmother, who passed away on Tuesday (25.08.26), aged 80.

Miley - who also shared a throwback photo of her godmother - wrote on Instagram: "The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they'll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour and between our hearts.
