United Kingdom, Oct. 6 -- Mikey Madison's family have helped her to remain "tethered to the ground" since her Oscars success.

The 27-year-old star won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Anora, the 2024 romantic comedy-drama movie, and Mikey has credited her family for keeping her feet on the ground.

The actress - who has two sisters and two brothers - told People: "I have some really incredible people around me, like my family, friends that help keep me, like, tethered to the ground.

"I don't know in terms of advice, I'm not sure, but my brothers are constantly reminding me that I'm just their sister. Yeah, I'm being humbled."
