United Kingdom, July 24 -- Michael J Fox thinks his acting return has "really prolonged [his] life".

The 65-year-old actor was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the early 90s, and he retired from acting due to the increasing unreliability of his speech in 2020, before performing a U-turn.

Speaking about his return to acting, Michael told The Hollywood Reporter: "It's really prolonged my life and made my life interesting in a way that I didn't think it would be to this point."

Michael - who is best known for starring in the Back to the Future film franchise - is philosophical about his health situation, and acknowledges that it will determine what he can and cannot do moving forwards.
