United Kingdom, March 24 -- Mel B has confirmed the Spice Girls world tour "isn't happening".

The 50-year-old pop star - full name Melanie Brown - has lifted the lid on rumours the Spice Girls scrapped plans for a series of shows in 2026 to mark the 30th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe, admitting she's keen to hit the road but the tour just hasn't come together.

She told New York Post column PageSix: "I'm always the one going: 'Yes, we're going on tour'. I would love to go on tour. I would love to do music, but it isn't happening ...

"I'm always ready to go on tour with the Spice Girls. I wouldn't be sitting here if it weren't for my other four girls, if I weren't a part of that kind of girl power crazy roller coaster ride."...
