Matthew McConaughey hopes to live on through his children
United Kingdom, Aug. 17 -- Matthew McConaughey believes his children will help him become "immortal".
The Rivals of Amziah King actor - who has Levi, 18, Vida, 16, and 13-year-old Livingston with wife Camila Alves - doesn't want his kids to grow up and be "exactly" like him, but he hopes they are able to take on board some of the wisdom and life lessons he has imparted over the years.
He told People magazine: "Every parent out there, what do you want for your children? You want to pass on some values and things that you built in your own life.
"You don't want them to be exactly like you, but you want them to take some things and keep them alive after you are gone. That's how you become immortal."
